Trouble Swallowing And Breathing, ENT Advised Prednisolone, Flovent Pump. Ringing In Ears, Legs Numb. What Next ?
Hi....I have a seven year daughter with multiple unexplained symptoms. She started having trouble swallowing a few weeks ago, followed by trouble breathing. I have taken her to see an ENT doc; a pediatrician; doctors at Miami Children's outpatient center; and an asthma specialist. None of them have been able to diagnose her symptoms. The ENT prescribed prednisolone; the pediatrician prescribed Flovent pump; Miami Chldrns prescribed ProAir (Albuterol) pump; and asthma doc did asthma and allergy tests. All say she does not have asthma even though she is wheezing. Since starting on these meds, she has less difficulty breathing/swallowing but now has ringing in her ears; numbness in her legs, and feels weak like she may pass out. Short of admitting her to a hospital, I'm not sure what to do next.
