Trying For Conception. Heart Burn, Altered Taste And Burning Sensation In The Throat. Pregnant?
Hi Me and my boyfriend have been trying for a baby for about 3 months I was on the pill and stopped 4 months ago then strutted trying for baby 3 months ago,, I have missed my period but has negetive test, I have been having few pregnancy symptoms and am taking iron tablets to help conceive, today I have been feeling extremely sick and bad heartburn and have a funny taste and burning sensation in my throat, could I be pregnant? What shall I do please help me ASAP
Hi, Thanks for the query. After stopping the pills it will take some time for regularization of the periods. As the test is negative the possibility of pregnancy is less. Iron tablets help in improving the hemoglobin status but they will not help in getting pregnancy. The symptoms you are having could also be side effects of the tablets. You consult gynecologist once, find out the cause for missed period. If needed go for blood test for pregnancy once. After that you can take tablets for withdrawal bleeding, track ovulation and plan intercourse during that time.
