Trying To Conceive. IUI Advised, Lezra, Menogon Injection Prescribed. Suggestions?

Hi Doc,

I have TTC since five years, consulted many docs, few recommended IUI, few IVF. After all the tests and consultation, i have finally decided to go for IUI. My doc recommended Lezra followed by menogon injection prior for attempting IUI. after reading to all the reviews about both these medicines,i am again very confused especially because of the terrible side effects.

just to give you a brief about my self, my prolactin levels used to be high but i was still having normal periods, later i was prescribed parlodel and now it is in normal ranges with medicine. the rest of my test are all normal, had lap and dye test done too,,,, all normal ...my other half has morphology problem, he is also on medicine.

my point is i can still ovulate with giving these medicines but what to do ???

Hi there ~

I understand your concerns. However you might be just over reacting to the side effects after reading them. The chances that you might have these side effects are very little to none. It is because of this reason that you are advised to not read the literature about medications when you want to trust your doctor in situations like yours when you are trying to conceive a baby with your partner. I hope you do not linger on the side effects and start believing your doctor. This will go a long way in your physical health as well as mental health. I hope wish and pray that you are blessed with a child as this is going to be challenging for you, and I am sure you are up for the challenge. You need to be confident and trusting of your doctor. I hope this helps.

Take care and have a lovely day!
