Trying To Conceive. Took BC Pill. Have Spotting, Thick Clear Mucus. Pregnant? Implantation Bleeding?

Husband and I trying to conceive. Took last BC pill on July 28, had my regular withdrawal period that ended on August 4th. Most of my periods have been dark brown. This month I started spotting about 6 days before period I'd due. Started out very faint pink to dark brown then heavy enough for tampon for two days then dark brown again and that was yesterday and today. Only today it was dark brown with pieces of tissue and thick clear mucous. Took a test about 4 days ago and it came up negative. Does this sound like implantation bleeding? Could I be pregnant?

Hi
This does not suggest implantation bleeding. Usually implantation occurs in mid month, 2 days after ovulation and very mild bleeding and not for 2 days. The UPT will show positive usually only after 3-5 days of missed period. This may be menstrual bleeding or abortion. So I advice you to get examined by your doctor once and get their opinion after examination.

Hope this helps you.

Regards
