Trying To Conceive, Have Irregular Periods, Strong Headache Before Periods, Taken Clomid. What Is The Cause?

i have been trying to conceive for one year now and later there are no result , I was prescribed clomid for two months no result, Also ma menstruation cyle us changed its irregular up to 36 days what is the reason?.Be fore ma period i have a very strong and painful headache what brings all these. i thought im pregnant but now am not. help me out

Hello,

Hormonal irregularities either ovarian, adrenal or pituitary hypothalamic origin can cause irregular cycles. The cause for irregular cycles has to be elicited by doing hormonal assays on specified dates of menstrual cycle. Clomid helps in causing ovulation(egg-release) if there are anovulatory cycles due to ovarian causes. Severe headache before menses is a sort of premenstrual migraine. Did you ever have such episode before? as you keen on conceiving, please focus on getting thoroughly investigated to find out if there is any male factor for infertility and also the exact cause for female infertility. Only then you can expect good results.
