Trying To Concieve. Got IUI Done. On Medication. Getting Cramps, Short Cycles. Reason?
Hi Doctor, I did IUI on July 30 and im using Lupigest (twice a day) and Lazifo during night. And I get period cramps during night(severe pain) and i cudnt sleep properly...I have short cycles(usually 20 to 22 days)...What is this pain for..i am so worried and im trying to conceive since three years.....What is the success rate of my IUI
Based on the provided information your cramps could be due to the hormonal supplement you are on or just due to the frequent sexual intercourse as you are trying to conceive. But such an assumption cannot be made and the only way to really find out the cause wiuld be with the help of a physical examination and ultrasound of the abdomen and p3lvis. I hope you are no experiencing any signs of an infection like itching around the genitals, frequent urination, burning sensation while urinating, vaginal discharge, etc.
Consult your doctor at the earliest an abstain from all forms of sexual contact if you are.
The success rate of an IUI if no other complications are present is about 60-70 %.
Hope this helps.
Take care.
