Hello, I'm 29 yrs old, married for 6yrs. Trying to conceive. I have PCOD, periods are irregular. had IUI done twice. Right now i am taking MR.Met 500 twice a day and duphaston. I have been taking duphaston for about eight months now since 18th day of ma period for 7 days. i want to know will it have side effects or any harm in having it to get regular periods. And any why MR Met 500 as i found that it is a tablet given to diabetic patients, and i am not diabetic.
Hi, Thanks for writing to us. The both drugs are useful in PCOD treatment because they help to regularize your period they are not harmful. MR Met500 use in PCOD to reduce weight because in PCOD patient weight is increased and fertility decreased. Good luck. take care.
