Trying To Get Pregnant. Had A Miscarriage. Brownish Discharge, Delayed Periods. Miscarriage Or Pregnancy?

Hi,
About 18 months ago I had a miscarriage in week 7. We have been trying to get pregnant again for about a year. My periods are very regular. This month it's 4 days late. This morning I notices brown discharge, like old blood, my breasts are sore, which they never are and I have pain on the left hand side. Could I possibly be pregnant or am I experiencing another miscarriage?

Hi,
Thanks for writing to us.
You should consult a gynaecologist for urine, blood test and ultrasonography to rule out pregnancy or miscarriage.
Brown discharge may be because of implantation bleeding or because of hormonal imbalance.
