Trying To Get Pregnant, Had Dark Brown Spotting, Cramping, HPT Negative. Reason?

MY CYCLE IS VERY REGULAR ( 28 TO 29 DAYS ). i HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET PREGANANT FOR TWO MONTHS. For this cycle, I had dark brown spoting 7 days before my [period that lasted 3 days , Taday( 4 days before my period), It had cramping this morning, and more spoting , dark red to red. I took a preganancy test on 07/01/13, it was negative. I have never had spoting before. What do suggest? may be my period started earlier, or I need to visit an OB/GEN, OR JUST WAIT ? tHANK YOU CHAIBIA.

Hi Chaibia,
Thanks for the query.

There is possibility of some hormonal imbalance.
Because of that sometimes spotting precedes the actual period.
If the same thing repeats in the next cycle, you have o consult gynecologist once and get evaluated to find out the cause and take treatment accordingly.
If she recommends you can go for hormonal evaluation including estrogen, progesterone, FSH, LH and thyroid profile.
To get pregnancy you have to plan intercourse around the time of ovulation.
