Tuberculosis. Using Vaporizer For Cannabis. How Can This Affect My Treatment?

hi, i have beed diagnozed with tuberculosis , i used to smoke cigarrttes and marihuana everyday, i stop smoking both but i steel use a vaporizer for cannabis , this device is not smoking is just vapor is not combustion in the proceses, the question is how can this affect my treatment, i ve been taking my antibiotics everyday for one month now thannks

Hi there ~

I understand your concerns. I am sorry to hear that you have been diagnosed with tuberculosis, which can be a very deadly disease if not treated. I hope you have consulted an infectious disease physician who has you on anti tubercular treatment. I also think that using marijuana would not be good for your healing, i.e. it would delay your recovery from tuberculosis as it slows down your metabolism and also may cause you to become dependent on it. If you feel like you cannot quit marijuana on your own you need to consult a specialist in substance use disorders who could be your psychiatrist. I wish you well in your path to recovery.
