Dear doc: I have recently(one month) been diagnosed type 2 diabetes with Blood Sugar at 166 fasting and HBA1c at 7.0. My SGPT and SGOT are in 90s during this last month (most probably fatty liver). I am quite frustrated as with all measures of exercise, diet control, medication(Metformin) Sugar level in fasting remains in range of 175 to 166 and not coming down
Hi, i had gone through your query and understood your concerns.
As you mentioned sugar levels are high. You were diagnosed with diabetes just 1 month back. So give some time for diet control and exercise to act on your body. And, also dosage of medication should be adjusted after checking a serial of sugar levels. Don't worry, keep going with the good things you are following. Hope this guides you, Thank you.
