Ultrasound Findings Are Suggestive Of Polycystic Ovaries. Hormonal Correlation Suggested. Do I Have PCOD?

My ultrasound findings are-multiple tiny cysts/follicles less than 5mm in size seen scattered in the stroma as well as in subcapsular location of both ovaries with increased stromal echogenicity suggestive of polycystic morphology of ovaries. Hormonal correlation is suggested. USG findings are suggestive of Polycystic Ovaries. Does this establish that I have PCOD???

Hello, Welcome to HCM, I am Dr. Das
the ultrasound report definitely indicates presence of polycystic ovarian syndrome. But it has to be correlated clinically. Hormonal levels should be checked for presence of any particular abnormality. Hormonal profile includes TSH,T3,T4, prolactin, estrogen and progesterone.
So, overall the condition seems to be a case of poly-cystic ovarian syndrome.
