Hello,
History noted. The normal maturing graffian follicles may at times resemble like polycystic feature. The day of cycle, when the ultrasound is done also accounts for the size of the follicles(i-e) when done during the period of ovulation, it resemble as few follicles (+). The PCOS is not only diagnosed by ultrasound, hence it is called syndrome. The clinical symptoms, cycle duration also with ultrasound is required for the diagnosis. If the abdominal ultrasound is showing doubtful follicles, it is better to confirm with a trans-vaginal ultrasound. First confirm the presence of PCOS. If present also you need not worry, since with the help of modern medicine to conceive with PCOS is not a big deal. After the Trans-vaginal ultrasound, kindly get back to us with the report or consult your gynecologist for further guidance.
All the best.
Good day.
