Ultrasound Results Free Fluid In Pouch Of Douglas, Want To Conceive. Is It Serious? Will It Create Any Problem In Pregnancy?

hi, i am 28 years old, 6 months ago i was getting married, now i want to conceive a baby, my periods is normal but last month my ultrasound report says i have small amount of free fluid in pouch of Douglas, i want to know that its serious case, or its creating problem to become me pregnant? please help me,

Hi,
Thanks for the query.
Presence of free fluid in pouch of douglas usually suggests.
- Recent ovulation
-Pelvic inflammatory disease etc.
If you do not have symptoms like white discharge associated with itching, smell etc, pain abdomen etc, no need to worry.
Plan intercourse around the time of your ovulation.
This will increase the possibility of pregnancy.
Ovulation can be tracked by different methods.

Start taking folic acid supplementation from nowonwards.
