Ultrasound Shows Gestational Sac In Uterus And Yolk Sac. Low Beta HCG Number. Worried
My beta hcg level was 119.3 on 27th day after LMP. I am now 5 weeks pregnant and got y ultrasound yesterday which shows the gest sac in uterus and yolk sac but my new gynae says that the beta hcg should have been repeated in 48 hrs and this low number is not healthy..will have to wait for heartbeat in next 10 days..I am worried

At 5 weeks, the heart beat is not sometimes visible. Doubling of hcg levels after 48 hours is confirmatory of a viable pregnancy. Presence of a yolk sac on ultrasound also goes in favor of a viable pregnancy.
