Ultrasound Shows Thick Muscular Tissue Attached To Uterus. What Is The Condition Called?

my daughter just had an ultrasound at 20 weeks and they saw a shadow. She had a second more extensive ultrasound preformed and they said that she has a muscular tisue that is thick and attached to each side of her uterus and it is nothing to worry about and it will stretch as the baby grows. Is there a term/name for this ? She said it is no an ambiotic band.

It can be Uterine fibroid. Better can perform the endometrial biopsy by taking a tissue sample from the uterus to confirm..
