Unable To Forget Things That I Do Not Want To Remember. Guidance?

My name is Kush and i am 25 years old, i am having problem of repeated memories of past which comes & remains in my mind i am not able to forget the things which i can not want to remember, also the memories of my X Girl Friend who ditched me is not going away from my mind which create problem for me to forget her as i used to remember her on daily basis.
