Unable To Know About The Periods After Putting Merina About 3 Yrs Ago. Also The Stomach Is Bloated Now And Havent Put On Weight On Any Other Body Part?

About 3 years ago I had a merina put in for heavy bleeding and that solved the problem I still get some bleeding but I don't know when I get my period. but my concern is that my stomach is has become larger as if I am 6 months pregnant I haven't put on any weight any where else and my stomach stick up is that a concern.

Hi. Mirena is intrautrine device containing progesterones and will not only act to control heavy bleeding, but also as contraceptive.Periods can be a little irregular.Ya, for large stomach, I will advise you to ghet one ultrasound abdomen done and look for cause. You may not be developing any cyst in ovary, or ascites or anything else.
