Hi,
One of the common complications which can happen after an open heart surgery is stroke. He is suffering from stroke. There may be a bleeding or thrombotic occlusion of a vessel supplying the brain.
CT Scan has already revealed that there are two lesions. If they are not too big, usually person will recover, may not to full extent.(considering his age). Otherwise also it will take six months for muscular recovery. Physiotherapy at home will help.
Immediate concern is he should come of this acute condition, many times they recover depending on the severity of lesion.
