Uncontrollable Chesty Dry Cough After Having Intercourse With Sex Worker. Could This Mean Something?
Hello, Six days ago I had an encounter with a sex worker. She is from Romania. She is around 23 and looked healthy enough, but some of her practices have got me worried. I have come into contact with her by performing oral sex on her after she masturbated to arouse her she said she was okay. When I had intercourse with her the condom I was wearing came off inside which gave me a real fright. She said not to worry she was okay, and it may be that it just came off as I pulled out. towards the end of around three hours with her, she decided to pull my condom off as she was rubbing herself on my penis without me penetrating. I have had an uncontrollable chesty dry cough since and just feel a little sick in the stomach. I have since called her with my concerns and she has said she is okay. I have tried to put it to the back of my mind until I can have a test in one month. Could this cough and feeling of sickness mean something, and am I likely to be at high risk ?

Earliest manifestations of HIV (Acute infection) can occur 4 weeks after the possible infection and not earlier than that. So your symptoms are not due to HIV.
Next possibility of dry cough after sex could be due to pharyngitis of STD following an oral sex or it may be due to an ordinary throat infection following a close intimacy and not related to STD.
If you consult your physician he will be able to treat this dry cough easily. Anyhow it is better yo have a blood workout for STD/HIV after 12 weeks and rule out these possibilities totally.
