Underwent Operation, Have No Sex Desire, Painful. What Can Be Done?

I had the completed operation in 2005. The doctor made 4 incisions and literally removed everything. I was very grateful for that typed of operation due to the fact I am highly allergic to pain medication and muscle relaxers. Well, when I went for my check-up the doctor said, I was healing well and could have intercourse now! I tried and it was so painful I was screaming and my husband stopped! The doctor said, I would feel better in time to give it another month! The pain never ceased! I would cry and I felt like my husband was going thru me! We have tried creams, lubricates, and I was put on hormones for a year which made me so irritable and Dr. Hide/Dr.Jekel I could not bare myself!! My doctor finally made the commit I had so much scar tissue that there was nothing he could do for me~I had to just live with it! My sex drive is 0~before the operation it was a 9! I have no desire and really don t think about it as much~but, I do not like leaving my husband feeling rejected or not wanted! I do LOVE him but, it hurts to make love to him! It will be 6 months since we last had sex~I need to find a solution to this VERY PAINFUL PROBLEM!! Can you help me?
