Unprotected Intercourse, Burping, Gas, Frequent Headaches, Short Period, Spotting. Pregnant?
i had unprotected sex a month ago, i took a contraceptive pill 2days after, but now im scared that i might be pregnat, ive been burping, and passing gas a lot, and have frequent headaches, my period came a week after i took the pill but it only lasted three to four days, and i was spotting again recently for one day. i have not taken a test yet, but could i be pregnant??
The symptoms like burping, passing gas & headache can be attributed to either stress or due to indigestion. Symptomatic relief can be obtained by intake of antacids & dietary modifications. The menstrual irregularity can be due to high hormonal content of the emergency contraceptive pill.
Based on all these facts, the chance of pregnancy is not there.
However, if there is persistence of menstrual irregularity then it will be better to consult a Gynecologist to normalize the hormonal imbalance.
Wishing a good health. Thanks & take care.
