Hi, Welcome to HCM, I am Dr. Das.
First of all time requirement for a drug to get effective, vary individual to individual. So, no one definitely tell the time required for drug to get effective. As you take after pill in a cycle along with the contraceptive injection, the hormonal system got disturbed. So, it is quite natural for you to have your period delayed.
But if you miss your period, Do a Pregcolor card test with your urine on or after the scheduled day which will confirm you whether you are pregnant or not. thats all.
