Unprotected Sex During Ovulation. Pregnancy Test Negative. Pregnant?
I had sexual intetcourse on my ovulation date which was may 10 but hubby pulled out before ejaculation... 72 hours after I took plan b... Yesterday I took a preggers test and it was negative... I'm 45 years old and don't want anymore children ... Is there any possibility that I could be preggers? I'm bloated and my boobs are swollen ... Please help!
From your query you have stated that you took 'plan b' within 72 hours after your sexual intercourse. If this is right, and although your husband did not ejaculate inside of your (which is the withdrawal method, and is only 50 % effective), chances for you to be pregnant are slim.
I would advise you to undergo a pregnancy test 2 weeks after your last date of sexual intercourse or on the first or second day of a missed period. An early morning urine sample should be used which will yield a more accurate result. You will have to repeat this test 2-3 times, to confirm a result.
The symptoms you are experiencing could be due to a period being around the corner, if you are still not menopausal i.e.
I hope I have succeeded in providing the information you were looking for. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications. I would gladly help you.
Best wishes.
