Unprotected Sex During Ovulation, Brown Bleeding, Short Periods Cycle. Pregnant Or Abnormal Periods?

Hello, I had unprotected sex all during the month of December, inculding my ovualtion period. I got my period on the day it was due, however, it only last 2 days and was brown in color. Typically, my menstral cycle last a full 5 or 6 days. I ve been searching online and keeping coming up with the possibility that I am pregnant. I have taken 4 home pregnancy tests so far, and all are coming up negative. Is it possible that I am pregnant, or should i just disregard this abnormal period?

Hi thanks for your question.
Preggnancy test comes positives 7 to 10 days after the missed period.I think you gone too early for pregnancy test.
There could be few reasons for your light bleeding.
First could be you have concieved and this is your implantation bleeding .Implantation bleeding occurs one week after ovulation due to implantation of fertalized ovum in uterus.The second possibility is you had concieved and you aborted.
The third possibility is abnormal period,which do happens sometime.
The best way to sort out the confusion is to repeat the pregnancy test 10 days after your light periods.If result comes negative,it can be further confirmed by the help of ultrasound.
