Urine Culture Test- Transpercy Is Hazy Intead Of Clear, Pus Cells:2-4/hpf, Epithelial Cells:608/hpff
HI Today my wife undergone a urine culture test, report shows that Transpercy is Hazy instead of clear
Pus cells 2-4 /hpf
Epithelial cells 608/hpf
Rest all counts are OK. Pls suggest does above shows that there is urinary infection & if yes what will be the cure for the same

Hi,
These reports are suggestive of a urinary tract infection so I would suggest that you start a course of urinary alkalizing syrups for 10 days, along with nitrofurantoin tablets (100 mg) for 10 days. If there is pain then antispasmodic tablet drotaverine may be required. Utimac powder may be used for 5 days.
