Hi... i started the contraceptive pill zoely nearly 4 weeks ago. i had a copper Iud removed 3 weeks ago.... I had a light period the first week of the pill. then once had iud removed have been bleeding ever since... basically 4 weeks of bleeding every day?? In next few days Im due for withdrawal bleed and just starting to wonder if bleeding likely to stop anytime soon!!! its very annoying.... Im really tired and have a short temper which is not very fair on my children!! Thankyou.
Hi, Thanks for the query. After changing the contraceptive method, some amount of irregularity in menstrual cycles is common. As you are having continuous bleeding, better to consult gynecologist once and take tablets to control the bleeding. With her advice you can take anti - fibrinolytic drugs to control the bleeding and can continue the pills.
