Intake of one emergency pill may not lead to much side effects. But repeated usage of emergency contraceptive pills can lead to short term and long term side effects. Refer:http://srsree.blogspot.in/2012/08/emergency-contraceptive-pill-short-term.html Your pain abdomen can be due to that. The half life of the tablet is 24 hours only. But the hormonal imbalance caused by that may take few weeks to months to get corrected depending on how many tablets used. You once consult gynecologist and go for ultrasound to find out the possible cause for your problem. Meanwhile you can take symptomatic treatment.
