Using Hearing Aids. Whenever Blow The Nose, Hearing Long Piercing Whistle From Right Ear. No Wax Built

I have dual hearing loss and require hearing aids. For the past month or so, whenever I blow my nose, with or without my hearing aids in, my one ear reacts normally (the left ear) with minor pops, that sort of thing. But the other, my right ear, let's out this long piercing whistle, think of the sound you hear when your hand is over your hearing aid. Recently I went to my audiologist for new hearing aids and he didn't notice anything when he looked in my ears. He said there was no wax buildup or anything. He did, however, say that it appears that I have had some minor hearing loss in my right ear (the one with the whistling) in comparison with last years audiology exam. Is this something I need to look into?

Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
The usage of hearing aid and difficulties depends upon
not using the the optimal hearing aid, or not using in correct way,
If the hearing aid is loose it may cause interference with the sounds.
When the volume of the hearing aid is set to too loud, it can
cause, head ache, tinnitus, or ringing in the ears, then you have to get the voiced fixed by the audiologist.
Avoid entry of water or any liquids into the ear.
Wishing you a comfortable hearing. Thank you.

Hello, I have gone through your query.
In my opinion, you might have problems with eustachian tube or the ear drum. Consult a ENT specialist because there might be any perforation.
Hope this helped you.
Thanks.
