Vision Tunnels, Confusion, Memory Lapse. Symptom Of?

My boyfriend, who is 55, had an episode where his vision became tunneled then he has a great deal of confusion not recalling what he was talking about and telling me the same thing 3 times in 10 minutes, not recalling he told me at all.He felt off all night and a little this morning but is now fine. Could this be a pre-stroke or heart attack symptom?

Hi
I think he needs an immediate medical intervention.
It could be an attack of stroke or if he a hypertensive/ diabetic uncontrolled level of either one could have caused the above symptoms.
He needs a direct eye examination which will give a clue to proceed further. He might need a urgent CT / MRI to find the intracranial cause for visual defect and memory loss. The early intervention the best. So don't wait , and visit the ER soon. Take care.
