Vulval Pain, Discharge. Recent Childbirth. White Spots In Vulva. Diagnosis?
hello, im have complete my MBBS n copmleting my postgrauation on obs & gynae, im trying to confirm the diagnosis of the patient in my outoor practise in a maternity, with compains of severe vulval pain n discharge ,she delivered a baby vaginally 3 months ago, on examination, there was whitish pervaginal discharge n there was small whitish spots like in her vulva only about 6 to 7 in number, per vaginal examination was painful for her so could not be done. Coul you help me to confirm the diagnosis

From the description, it could be due to cellulitis or vulvovaginitis. Since the examination was painful, an active infection is likely to be present. A vaginal swab culture will help.
