Want To Donate Blood. On Third Day Of Menstruation. Can I Donate?

there s gonna be a blood drive at my factory tomorrow. i ve already signed up and this is my third times. Unfortunately, it s also the third day of my period and according to the guidelines i am not qualified to donate. What should i do. I really want to do this. This event will only be held at this place four times a year. I dont want to miss it. I have already drink a large cup of honey and tend to drink another cup tomorrow morning before the donation. Will this help?

Women may donate during their period if feeling well on the day of donation.

The above information is displayed as guidelines to donate blood by the Red Cross society and is under constant modification. Some donor eligibility rules are specified by the Food and Drug Administration for every blood bank in the country. Other rules are determined by the particular blood bank and may differ between programs. Donor eligibility rules are intended to protect the health and safety of the donor as well as the patient who will receive the transfusion.

The final determination of eligibility is made at the time of donating by a team of health professionals.
