Want To Have Auricular Prosthesis For No Ear Cartilage By Birth. Need More Information

dear expert i want to go for auricular prosthesis because ear have no cartilage by birth. one of my maxilofacial surgeon has advised me to go for implant retained auricular prosthesis.i want to get complete information that will it be successful. and does mastois part of temporal bone has that much space to get 7 mm of implant?

I have gone through your query.
I am agree with your maxillofacial surgeon but for best result you may go for the autograft i.e. from the rib.
Auricular prosthesis is good but not better than the rib graft.
