General & Family Physician 's  Response

Hello,
Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
Cough =======2 months
10 days course of antibiotics , cough gone.
Phlegm present , it means expectoration ( phlegm or mucus) from last 2 months,
Cough reoccurs.
However there are so many reasons of cough with expectoration.
1== allergic bronchitis with added infection,
2== Bronchiectasis ( huge amount of phlegm)
3== Lung abscess ( mucopurulent discharge with fowl smelling)
4==asthmatic allergic bronchitis,
5===TUBERCULOSIS ( Pulmonary)
6 ==sarcoidosis
7 == Carcinoma ( cancer)
8== Pneumonitis .
9=== impact of some foreign body in lung due to inhalation.

Since cough is more than 2 months so assessment of tuberculosis is very important.
Consult a physician and physical examination is very important , as well complete blood examination with X ray chest.
Hops I have answered your question.
If further any question I will reply.
Good luck.
