It would resolve within a few days. If there is any discomfort you can consider the use of an anti inflammatory pain killer to speed up the healing process. This would include medication such as ibuprofen, aspirin, naproxen, diclofenac, celebrex.
You can consider refraining from sexual activity for a few days till the lesions resolve completely.
