Was Sitting On Grass, Got Horrible Itch, Back Of The Leg Turned Bright Red On The Spot That Itched Really Bad. What Does This Mean?

I was sitting on the grass for an hour and after an hour I started getting this horrible itch like i couldnt stop, it turned into bumps which its probably from itching, but after the day was over its was fine, after it was fine I was sitting in a chair and my back of the leg turned bright red on the spot that itched really bad. what does this mean?

It could be due to insect bite or some allergic manifestation.
You can take antihistamine to reduce itching and pain.
avoid insects, you can apply some insecticidal sprays.
