Wasp Sting, Had Hives, Tingling Sensation, Itching In Wrist And Inner Thigh. On Reactine And Hydrocortisone. What Does This Mean?
About 3 weeks ago I received a wasp sting. I am allergic to such stings and the next day I started to break into a rash. I attended a walk in clinic (my doctor was away) and was prescribed prescriptive reactine and a hydrocortizone cream. The rash disappeared after about a week. Several days ago (3 weeks after the sting) I started to break out in itchy hives, firstly on the wrist area, then on the inner thigh) . Itchy but not painful!. If I take reactine (over the counter), they seem to go away in about an hour. Can't seem to find any common cause. Any suggestions? By the way, the hives seem to be preceeded by a tingling sensation in my hands, similar to English childhood "chillblains" that we got from warming up in front of a fire after being out in the cold!
Hi, the sting that you had may not produce recurance, or there may be a part of the particle is left in the place. Or it may be the common allergy to some thing which is allergic to you, like food, clothes, medicines, etc. I advise you to consult a physician for diagnosis and treatment. Thank you.
