Water Retention Around Breasts, Bloating. On Medication For High BP, Little Overweight. Hormonal Problems?

Hi I am suffering terrible water retention for 3 weeks out of 4 a month, it's all around my breasts and I feel a little round my tummy, could this be due to my hormones? I am 42yrs of age and have no children.
I do have high blood pressure and for that I am taking 100mg of Losartan, and I am trying very hard to cut down on my salt in take as well.
I am a little over weight and also trying to walk as much as I can.
Please can ou help with any advice?

Hello,
Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
As you mentioned that you are taking LOSARTAN 100 mg , this is most potent anti hypertensive and normal dose is 50 mg i.e. your B P remains very high.
In my opinion , you have misconception that there is retention of water around breast.
This may be due to deposition of adipose tissue ( fat in & around breast).
However the deposition of fat may be due to hormonal imbalance.
Get in blood examination for estrogen , estradiol, F S H / L H ratio .
Get an ultrasound of reproductive organs ( uterus, ovaries etc).
Consult a gynaecologist and get his opinion .
Also consult a physician for any heart involvement for fluid or fat deposition.
