Weakness, Cough, Phlegm. Taken Amoxicillin For Sinus Infection. Is It Viral Infection?

I had the flu in at the end of January. Two weeks later, I became really shaky, dizzy, lightheaded, nauseous, and had headaches, and adrenaline rushes. My doctor said I had a sinus infection, but the amoxicillin did not help. Went to the er they said I had low potassium and a uti. After that was fixed by May. I still feel exhausted, weak, have not a lot phylm comming up with my cough, my nerves feel shot, so my doctor put me on something for a viral infection. I think I am feeling better, but its only been a day. could a viral infection make me this ill??

Hi,
You have been unfortunate in having 3 infections in the last few months. This will take some time to recover fully from. It would usually take a few weeks to recover from 'flu. Sinus infections frequently do not respond to antibiotics and therefore can linger for some time. You then had a UTI with electrolyte imbalance which will also take time to recover from.
I think you body will be recovering from your illnesses but has not fully recovered yet.
