Weird Dreams At Night, Lack Of Sound Sleep. No Help From Sleeping Pills, Or Muscle Relaxer. Have Neck Problem. Help

I can't seem to shut my brain off at night to fall or even stay asleep. I've tried sleeping pills with little success. Either it doesn't last the whole night or I have weird dreams so I don't get a restful sleep. I also tried a muscle relaxer
, since I also have neck problems, but was drowsy the next day. What else is there?

You should try trazodone, an antidepressant which improves the sleep architecture. There are other sedating antidepressants such as mirtazapine which can also help.
Start regular aerobic exercise and eat healthy. Stop alcohol and coffee at night.
