The reason why we have a butt, is because in that but is the largest single muscle that we have in our body, it actually contains three muscles, the gludius maximus, gludius minimus, and something like the gludius medius. but all in all, we are the only animals that stand up right, and we need that extra muscle there to get up and keep ourselves up, without them, standing up would be a very strenuous and almost impossible task
