What Advice Would You Give For Worsening Dysphagia Along With Diabetes And Hypertension?
Hi I am diabetic, hypertensive, and have BPH, on Meoxipril (anti hypertensive medication), Flomax, and Metformin. In he past 10 years I started gradually to experience dysphagia (upper part of the esophagus), after /while eating solid especially spaghetti and rice. I drik frequently while eating. It sounds that it is gradually worsening. Can you please advise
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum. The health issues you are having has nothing to do with the present disphagia. It could be due to the peptic ulcer, G.E.R.D. , allergic reaction to some foods as spaghetti, and rice, or may be secondary to the infection in the throat. I advise you to consult a gastroenterologist for diagnosis and treatment. I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms omeprazole, domperidone and antacid gel. Avoid taking spices, junk foods, and oily foods. Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
