What Affects Salivary Glands And Causes Chest Pressure Into The Neck?

I have some unusual chest pressure into my neck...thought it was indigestion and took Tums. Strangely it is affecting my saliva glands...making them secrete and a prickly feeling. My glands under jaw feel tight. Pressure is subsiding but slight hot flash. Anxiety?

Hello,

Stomach upsets and acidity do cause salivary gland activity.
But as far as stiffness and tightness is concerned, it can be due to an infection which is compressing respiratory causing chest discomfort.

You take Pantoperazole once daily for 15 days. However, to prescribe antibiotics needs first clinical examination to find whether glands are infected or not.So report to emergency room for that and accordingly you would be treated.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
