What Ailments Occur After Having Oral Sex?
Hi I was wondering I know you can get STD infections from oral sex but is there anything eles you can get after oral sex. Just cuz I have a sore throat now and I had sex with my partner this past Monday so could it be a STD virus or mabey I'm just being paranoied. I don't know.

Thank you for query.As you have rightly mentioned many STDs can be transmitted by oral sex.There are other infections like bacterial, viral and fungal which need not be stds usually which can be transmitted.like the upper respiratory tract infection causing viruses and bacteria.Th incubation period can vary from days to months.So it can be URI.Dr Bharatesh D Basti
