What Are 35 Weeks 2 Days Pregnant Baby S Movements?

hello, I am 35 weeks and 2 days pregnant and have had what I think were Braxton hicks last Friday night, it was a constant pain that lasted from 9:30 pm to 1:00 am, and in that time I have felt squeezing sharp pains and felt like my bladder was going to explode. that morning I was sent to a hospital in the city at 4 am and had tight sharp pains on the way there, when I got to the city hospital the pain slowed down but I could feel the baby trying to push himself more downward. since those hicks I have been getting a tight feeling all over my belly and it hasn t left yet, the baby has not been as active as he used to be, he used to kick more than 20 times an hour now he s kicking about 10 times an hour and trying to push himself more down, when his head moves my pelvic area feels tight like he wants to come out. I have also been having discharge that is clear most of the time and spots that are creamy yellowish white. I don t think my water broke yet so it s just sharp pains in my pelvic area when I sit down for a while, get up a little to fast, use the toilet, and when baby moves his head and pushes down. Would like to know what some of these things I m going through are, this is also my first pregnancy.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The baby movements reduce as he grows up because there is less space for him to move. You may need to visit a gynecologist to get evaluated because this pain may be symptom of early labor.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
