What Are Abdominal Pain, Low Appetite And Swollen Ankles Suggestive Of?

I am concerned about my husband and would like to know if he should see his GP He is recently complaining about being tired , he is not eating well leaving food on his plate, he is complaining about aches in his stomach and started getting heartburn and he has for some time had swollen ankles and aching legs. Can you tell me if any or all of these symptoms should be investigated please

Yes, a thorough investigation should be done , if there is significant weight loss you must govgor a endoscopic biospy and histopathological examination of a gastric lesions if there it is. Otherwise you should check for a autoimmune disorder and exclude by an antibidy megetive test result. ESR and CRP must be done to check of presence or aaaabsent of a Chronic Infection .
