What Are Black Spots In The Ear Causing Extreme Pain Suggestive Of?

I was just seen by my Dr for ear pain in both ears. The left one, she said had black spots on it and dismissed it. The right ear was very red, and from past experience, know this is infection. She gave me Keflex for the Right ear she said, but it s my left ear that hurts so much I can t stand it! What s the black spots?

Hi,

Your symptoms seem to be related to an ear infection. I recommend using Keflex which is a preferred antibiotic to treat antibiotics ear infection. I recommend using Ibuprofen three times a day for the pain.
