What Are Blood And Pus Oozing Red Spots On The Forearms Suggestive Of?
Hi, over the last couple of months I have developed small red spots on my forearms and right above the elbow area. They do not hurt or itch, but won t go away. Occasionally they are bigger and some puss or blood will come out of them, but most of the time they are pretty small. I have tried using an antibiotic for about a week and a half at night and then a hydrocortisone cream recently for the last two weeks. Both don t seem to have much affect on getting rid of the dots. I have noticed it since I moved from Washington state to north carolina for a new job. Any advice would be appreciated.
It could be a boil or furuncle. Consult a physician and start on antibiotics. You can also apply topical antibiotics like mupirocin. Nothing much to worry as it will improve with proper antibiotics.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
