What Are Bright Dots And Shapes In Vision With Dilated Right Pupil Suggestive Of?

My son had bright dots flash in his eyes folllowed by what looked liked a thousand bright eye worms. he then had colored triangle shapes and it is affecting about a third of the vision in both eyes, he also has no depth perception, what appears as 10 feet is really about 100. he also said his right pupil is dilated larger than the left. He said he has a mild discomfort behind eyes, but no real pain. he is in Thialand with limited acess to medical help. Do I need to tell him to seek help?

I really appreciate your concern, this is the ophthalmic symptoms being described here and it need to be sent for eye surgeon opinion it may requires the numbers of test to know the underlying causes, what you have described could be nonspecific if tested for some particular eye disease, it is advisable to see the ophthalmologist hope this information helps.
