Hi Dr, My name is Rosa. I have been having sensations of burning heels while I m resting in bed and on few occasions have had tingling/numbness in the head, legs, arms and hands - like a feeling that I m about to pass out - it only lasts for a brief moment but has happened now on a few occasions. I am a bit concerned as there is a history of MND and MS in my family - my father had shy dragger syndrome, two cousins have MS and another cousin died of MND also. General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms of tingling in hands and legs are commonly related to peripheral neuropathy. Based on the fact that you have a heredity probability of MS, it should be excluded. So, I suggest to consult a neurologist and do a brain MRI for further evaluation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
